The eighth edition of Rugby World Cup was also known as 2015 Rugby World Cup which was played from 18 September to 31 October in England. Twickenham Stadium in London hosted the final match between Australia and New Zealand. 20 teams participated in the tournament and New Zealand won the Rugby World Cup 2015 by defeating Australia in the final by 34-17.
